The biggest solar power product in Minnesota won approval Tuesday from state regulators.
The $250 million Aurora Solar Project through process of Edina-based Geronimo Energy calls for installation of ground-mounted solar panels at 21 by and large rural sites from Chisago Regional north of the Twin Cities within Waseca in southeast Minnesota. Geronimo plans to finish the project doing 2016 and sell the power to Xcel Energy.
